The architect requested a survey of the existing dwelling on behalf of their client to aid the design and visualisation of a two storey extension. The intimate size of the grounds allowed for a high level of detail to be achieved both on the building and in the garden. After we processed and converted the point cloud file the architect was then able to render a 3D model of the extension and position it correctly with millimetre precision.
