We were approached by a client to help with their plans to build a new wing onto an existing care home. They requested a full scan around the exterior of the building, through the care home gardens and extensive scans on the side of the building the extension was planned to be. We were allowed to complete a scan on the first floor balcony and, despite not starting in the same place as the rest of the scans, we were able to edit it into the whole point cloud. This is a prime example of the flexibility of our LiDAR equipment.
